I’ve been steadily painting away at some of my 15mm WW2 backlog. While I still have mixed feelings about FoW V4 as a ruleset, Battlefront’s new plastic miniatures are VERY good and “FoW” style basing is still my preferred way to go (the base sizes are just right to allow for little dioramas). So, I’ll keep basing things for this system even if I am eyeballing alternatives (I’ve heard good things about Hail of Fire).

I’ve got some of my very old Soviet infantry soaking in a acetone mix (they are metal, so its fine) to strip and repaint. I’d like to beef up my WW2 Russians with the release of the Bagration book.

Finally, I have planned a day trip to Fall In! in November. Its been a long time since I got to go to an HMGS convention (I dont think I’ve been to a single once since Historicon left Fredericksburg). I’ll be saving my hobby dollars for that - my goal is to get a set of 15mm terrain and a Cigar Box cloth mat so I can play WW1/2 whatever other 15mm historical at home.

You may have noticed I lost some steam for Warhammer. It happens - I find my interests are quite cyclical. I’m sure it will pick back up again at some point. It always does after all….
